After
graduating from the University of Texas and being included in the
Whitney Museum Biannual Invitation Show in 1970,
I continued my artistic studies in India.
There I studied the ancient art of "Putal" - earthen, ceremonial
doll-making. Work in Hollywood
movies followed where I created sculptures and sets for "Conan
The Destroyer"
and "Dune".
My
business (Haydn Larson Studios, Inc.) began in 1991 focusing on Home
and Garden Art. We have since expanded to include gift items,
jewelry and other personal adornments. Lushly decorated pots,
plaques, birdbaths and pendants are first sculpted in clay then cast
in stone, sterling silver or pewter.
My
work is in many public and private collections and continues to be
infused with legend, lore and all the magic that accompanies
creation.
Haydn
Larson Studios is nestled in the heart of the Texas Hill Country
among a growing community of artists and craftsmen.
Thank
you,
